beerdad (49), Kansas, USA Jul 6, 2008 Bottled from a multi pack. Pours amber with a mild orange/cream head. Smells of alcohol and citrus. Has a crisp acidic flavor, more like a lighter ale. Overall, it’s decent, but not great

dark amber, nice head, sticky sweet carmel like finish, an ok beer PilsnerPeter (1473), Flushing, New York, USA Oct 2, 2008 Bottle: Deep copper pour with a creamy tan lacing head. Soft malts in the nose. Nice balance of toasted notes and caramel; fresh and bready with a very light citrus hop note. Has a nice fluffy/creamy feel. Has a soft sweetness from the malts- substantial and bready with a sweet resiny American hop character. Some toasted notes as well with a pretty solid American hop resiny note in the finish. Let this stuff warm; it’s better than I expected. Mutual_aid (96), Texas, USA Sep 27, 2008 Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Mild aromas of bread and fig with a distinct hop bouquet of limes. On the tongue it’s mostly a sharp alpha tingle towards the back of the tongue with a bit of light maltiness to round it out. The body is a bit too thin. In some ways this makes me think of a watered down tripel with some boiling hops thrown in. jujubeast6000 (502), Houston, Texas, USA Sep 21, 2008 (bottle): Pours an orangish body, small white head, quickly diminishing. Malty fruity aroma, fizzy. Very enticing. Fizzy malty nutty taste. A litte bitter/sourness. Nice soft mouthfeel.
