Bottle someone brought to the big game party. Pours a light gold with frothy white head. Aroma is mild to non-existent. Taste is about the same with some bready malt and some slight bitterness. Hops are gone. Overall, nothing I need to try again.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Frank (1961) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 8, 2012
This is a nice blond beer somewhat in the vein of a mild APA. Pours a nice, slightly cloudy golden w/ a small but long lasting head. Nose is cookie dough malts and lemon citrus hops. Crisp and fruity taste, slightly creamy but still light and very drinkable. This is one of those beers that is very well put together but scores low because the craft beer community has a general limp boner for big beers. Tasty and easy drinking. It’s beer and it’s good.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold pour with a thin white head and mild carbonation. Light hops in the aroma but has a nice caramel malt backbone. Flavor begins with a very mild hop bite giving way to a smooth and subtle malt middle. Light bitterness and hop spiciness on the finish. Very drinkable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ROGUE (1315) - Newark, Delaware, USA - SEP 20, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is light fruity and malty and slightly buttery with mild hops. The taste is a thin, sweet mildly toasted malt, with light hops that add some dryness. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Boliv (964) - New York, USA - AUG 17, 2011
Bottle. Pours clear and fizzy, bright yellow and orange, with nearly no head. The small head quickly fizzles away, leaving what could easily be mistaken for a glass of apple juice. Aromas of sweet apple, toffee, and raisin, although somewhat stale overall. The flavor is sweet and sugary malt, with raisin and plum. Medium carbonation and smooth. Not very good. [780]
