This inimitable ale resonates with a chorus of vibrant aroma chords. The first note is the aromatic symphony of wheat and barley malt, counterpointed with a naughty hint of spice. The second movement echoes with tones of floral and citrus hops, followed by a vivacious vibrato in which the exotic key lime takes this White Ale to a magnificent crescendo of taste. Leonine-like straw gold in look and an enigmatic subtle yeast haze makes this opus, pitch perfect in body and soul. Key Lime orchestrates a composition that compliments the traditional spicy, bready middle adding grace to a finish that is clean and bright. And as the harmony ebbs, you will feel an urge to replay this refrain. Allow yourself, for it is only natural to do so.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazed light golden color. It smells a bit limey, wheaty, herbal. Flavor is a letdown, coriander drowns out most of it, it is kind of sewagey, light lime, crappy stuff.

12 oz. bottle. Aroma is malt, caramel, light citrus and wheat. Flavor is lime, caramel, bread and some tart grass. Starts with a spicy tartness and finishes dry. Could be a bit sweeter. Interesting flavors, easy drinking. Not so memorable.

Hazy darkish gold, very thin loose white head. Smells vaguely citrusy, plus some some spicy notes. Taste is lime, some grain, and some vague spice notes. Woody hops in the finish. OK, I suppose.

A quite nice white ale. Pours an ugly clear yellow. Smells of citrus, lemon, herbs and lots of peach. Taste is smooth and very refreshing, some berries midway through. Had on tap at Tiburon Taps Beer Festival.

From bottle. Pours very cloudy straw colored with thick white head that dissipates quickly. You can smell the nice yeast spice and coriander but not much of the lime. The key lime comes through a little more in the taste finish. The beer is like a hybrid saison and Belgian white. A little more yeasty and spicy and fuller bodies than a standard Belgian white. Due to the thicker body, this would not be the best session beer although it is very refreshing and non offensive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
