12 oz. Red-copper with a medium-sized, lasting head. Spicy sweet corn and molasses aroma. Earthy spices and dried wood on the front; chocolate, toasted nut, molasses and corn on the back-end. Just a hint of a sour note and some alcohol provide additional balance. Medium-heavy body is creamy smooth and just dry enough.

Pours copper / bronze with a pillowy light tan head. The aroma is very malty with a lot of soggy caramel, biscuits and toffee. The taste and body start off fairly crisp with some grassiness, then it gets thicker with doughy caramel maltiness like that of the aroma. The finish brings in some spicy hops, but it’s still a very malt forward beer. It is an okay bock, but not something I’ll want very often at all.

Light caramel pour, small off-white head. It’s usually hit or miss with Mendo. No different this time. Sweet aroma...dried apples, caramel, huge malt and a big shot of molasses. Flavor has the same notes as the nose, buttery up front with an even bigger shot of molasses. There is the bitter hop wall that you hit about half way through. Body has a good feel to it...and that is this brews shining moment. The flavor was too sweet and the molasses too evident. Finishes bitter with some dryness. IShould’ve only got one.

Pour was a super deep, bright gold with smallish head and some lacing. A sweet syrupy aroma and also some hoppage. The flavor was very sweet with a syrupy mouthfeel with a grassy hop bite finish to try to keep this from being a malt-bomb. I’m not sure it succeeded.

This was a vegetal mess. Vegetable bitterness overwhelmed the flavor. The nose was not as bad, but unfortunately, I didn’t just smell this beer.

pours golden orange, what is that smell? shit if i know, smells like sweet potatoes baby food style. starts off with a thick beige head that goes away pretty quick. tastes malty with a raisin flavor, end with bitterness. It’s decent, glad i only bought one bottle though.
