Clear copper with decent, creamy beige head / Sweet malty, candied nose / Light to medium body, watery, with sticky malts and sweet finish / Simple flavor of spun sugar / Blah effort.

pours light reddish orange with a slight whitish head. smells of floral and spice. light caramel taste with yeasty notes. taste is a little hoppy at the end, but nothing remarkable. a bit of a bang of alcohol on the palette. it was ok, nothing special.

Coppery-amber beer features a very short, yet sturdy khaki head. Mild carbonation remains steady from start to finish. Toffee aroma, tinged with inappropriate banana and grape, shampoo and butterscotch. There exists a preamble of musty oxidation. Conflicting flavor pits sweetish/nutty/chewy malt against apple, stewed fruit, and grassy hops. Clean, overbitter-for-style finish that nontheless serves as a nice counterpoint to the beer’s sweetness. Syrupy mouthfeel with a thin pasty milk/sake texture. Iron and sulfur aftertaste. A little over-the-top, confused, and sloppy all around. Bock? Not !

Light copper color with a moderate lasting, vanilla folder colored head. Quite fruity in scent with some orange blossom, light honey and corn syrup scents. Perfumed flavors, with light currants, white grapes, mild cherry wood and earthy caramel. I’m not thinking bock, when I imbibe. I have to go deep to think of other brews that had this flavor and I’m still searching for a style. Strong american ale - to weak, bock - not enough malt, not even a strong amber. Perhaps a strong vienna., bit I’m reaching.

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR--Poured a crisp copper body with a fluffy white head. Fresh, floral, bready flavor with a biscuity caramel maltiness. Very sessionable. Not too noteworthy, but very quaffable.

Pours copper with a nice white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Flavor is malty, almost bread-like. Sweet at first and finished slightly bitter but clean. Fairly easy to drink.

Found this one bottled at the St. Charles, Illinois Binny’s. Medium copper pour with a limited, wispy head; sweet malty nose with some apple, peanut and caramel; the flavor continues with sweet malts, caramel, then drifts into a nutty bitterness before finishing soft and dry. I liked this beer.
