Initially sweet with a hop presence. Not too complex but has nice flavor. Smooth and has a bit of an alcohol punch. Some caramel and bready notes. Overall pretty good.

Nothing like a spring seasonal in fall....thanks to whoever sent me this months ago. Clear amber with thin head. Big biscuit malt aroma with mild perfume sweetness. Solid mix of malt sweetness with some fruit, and mild hops to balance.

Bottled. Poured translucent copper with a short cap of off-white head. the aroma was toasty, sweet, and strong with caramel and leafy accents.. smelled kinda syrupy. The flavor was quite the same, adding some bready notes and a touch of woody character.. finished strong with booze-infused syrupy caramel sweetness and some sourness. Medium-bodied and thicker on the palate with lower carbonation.. OK flow, but it felt stronger than it should have.

Pour is a hazy copper with a large white head. Aroma is caramel, bready and a nice helping of malts. Flavor is more malty than anything but some caramel and toffee come out. Finish is thick with some noticable alcohol. Still this is fairly decent with low bitterness and a nice malty backbone.

This beer pours a translucent copper colour with a small, thin off white head. Plenty of carbonation, colour is attractive and vibrant. Retention is mediocre, mouthfeel is lighter. Aroma is pleasent, soft honey, carmel and full of bright hop character. Taste is slightly biscuity, with flavors of caramel, grapes and pecans.

Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly, leaving a good lace. Almost clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Slight hoppy nose. Flavor is burnt caramel with a somewhat bitter finish. $1.85 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
