Poured a hazy copper amber with a thin head. A mild malty aroma with a creamy texture. There is a mild bite that slowly developed into a easy bitterness with some background sweetness of caramel.

Clearish coppery body, thick, puffy cream head, pillowy, leaving sheets of lacing on the glass. Toasty nose, sweet and caramely, with brown sugar and earthy hops. Slight metallic notes are also present. Round, bready body with caramels and a hint of raisin, leafy hops, and light alcohol. Average beer that meets expectations in a difficult-to-master style.

Poured amber with a tan head. Aroma was faint with hint of sweetness and fruit. Roast malt dominated the taste up front with some notes of sour apple. Some bitterness.

$6.49 for a six pack at Total Wine. Amber beer with a white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt. Flavor is rich and malty, and a strong bock character. Has a good hop finish, lightly bitter. Very robust and malt-centric. 7% ABV is a big plus. Still a good balance. Very tasty and interesting, and I like it a lot better than I thought I would. Another great value from Mendocino. Excellent.

Pours a hazy dark orange/copper color with small amount of bubbly white head. Aroma is nice sweet malts and citrus fruits. Flavor is very bitter and dry, lots of hops, slight alcohol burn. Reminds me more of a bad ipa than a bock.

Very clear copper body with a small white head. Heavy caramel aroma with light toastiness. Heavy caramel and toasty flavor with light molassas and a sticky bready finish. Almost a doppelbock. Medium full body with moderate carbonation and a sweet syrupy finish.

Shared with Maniac off taps Capital Ale House. Mostly clear copper with small white head. Caramel and vienna style malt aromas with some fruity yeast notes. Rich carmelized malt flavors with spicey hop notes.
