Butters (278), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours a murky vibrant yellow with white head and small floaties. Great nose of clean lemons. Flavor is a bit medicinal and astringent. Medium bodied. Fair. stefanje (483), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Jul 16, 2008 12 oz bottle courtesy of Beastiefan2k. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a big white fluffy meringue head. The aroma is spicy with pepper, thyme, soap and a bit of citrus. The flavor is citrusy-soapy with a bit of funk. The mothfeel is full and malty. The finish is long and slightly sour with lemons. Overall: A very interesting wit, and a good summer beer at that. Recommended. Slipstream (315), USA Jul 15, 2008 Nice label. Gold brew with scent of spices, honey, lemon, and a little skank. Taste of wheat, lemon, and clove, with a citrus aftertaste. Has a certain homebrew character to it. Enjoyable, but not fabulous - I have had better from this brewer. nuplastikk (381), Maryland, USA Jul 11, 2008 12oz bottle. New "White Ale" label. Slightly unpleasant artificial wheat aroma. Excellent thick, yeasty appearance. Wheat, mild citrus and vanilla flavors collide. Not a perfect example of the style, but I think it has more character than your typical American Wit. Lemony watery smooth finish. ehhdayton (1079), USA Jul 8, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy yellowish-orange., with a white head. Aroma is slighlty spicey with notes of lemon and orange. Flavor is moderately spicey with some low levels of hops.
