May 20, 2006 This beer is good, but not great. It’s pretty standard, but is nice in the summer. The summer ’05 has alittle too much zest too it in the after taste. The ’06 is a good improvement.

May 9, 2006 Has the aroma of a saison. Lime, lemon zest, and star anise and some white pepper. Flavor of lime, lemons, star anise, white pepper, peaches, corriander, and some orange zest. Good body, great palate.

May 8, 2006 The aroma is coriander and lemons. A cloudy yellow appearance with a large white head. The flavor is rather spicy with some peaches and lemons present. Refreshing and great for summer. Right on for a witbier.

May 7, 2006 a decent light copper color with a small off white head. aroma is heavy on the soap and grapefruit. Taste is equally blended hops and malts. I dont see why this is a summer beer, but it is a solid session beer.

May 1, 2006 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy & tupalev - courtesy of HogTownHarry. Slightly hazy light golden-orange with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, curacao and spice - quite good. Nice mild flavour - lemony and refreshing. The body is on the thin side, but this is pretty decent otherwise.

Apr 26, 2006 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent dark yellow colored carbonated body and a poor lacing. The aroma was mildly malty with an herbal overtone. The mouth feel was mediumly tingly from start to finish. Its smooth malty herbal flavor lingers in the aftertaste with a slight tingly feeling on the tongue.

Apr 22, 2006 Special Edition. White small fizzy head that mostly diminished, lacked lacing, fizzy carbonation, cloudy, and a straw yellow hue. Nose was malty, citrus, spicy, clean and refreshing. Flavor was sweet, spicy, thin, spicy, citrus, and clean refreshing. Tingly, watery, thin mouthfeel. Light body.

Apr 20, 2006 2 bottles shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a cloudy pale yellow, slightly bubbly, with an average size diminishing white head. Sweet aroma of yeast, fruit (lemon, apple and more) and spices. Flavour’s nice and spicy, just like how I like it, and fruity (no banana - yay!). Light bodied. Wheat beers are not a favourite of mine but this was very enjoyable and a great way to start our tasting.
