A surprisingly solid BevMo grab. Underrated for the style. Pours a hazy golden yellow with white head. Yeasty, lemony aroma with some spices. Nothing too complex, but refreshing with good spices esp. coriander, light fruits, and yeast. Medium-bodied with a nice palate. Can’t complain about this one, especially in the summer.

Hazy golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of lemon, wheat, yeast and strong coriander seed. Light-bodied; Nice mild wheat/yeast flavour with plenty of citrus and curacao. Aftertaste is very mellow-amazingly fresh. Overall, a good summer wheat - odd for me to say - especially from Mendocino, but its a good beer! Definitely one to try this summer! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 02-June-2005 at Jon(R888710)’s.

12oz bottle. Pours a white head with a hazy golden color. Particulates are present. Smells of coriander and citrus. Tastes of lemon, coriander, and a musty maltiness.

Very cloudy whitish yellow with bits of sediment. Thin white head, big spice aroma with tart lemon zest. Taste is dry, mostly lemony sour with classic coriander spice finish. Very classic style wit.

12 oz bottle purchased from McScrooge’s in Knoxville. Poured a hazy yellow/gold with a two finger white head. The aroma was heavy citrus, with notes of wheat present as well. The flavor was slightly funky/sour, with lemon and other citrus notes, with coriander spice notes as well. The mouthfeel was clean and refreshing.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is huge citrus and yeast. Lots of lemon in this one. Flavor is more citrus and some yeast phenols. Really refreshing beer.

Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass. Aroma - Predominant natural lemon aroma with subtle spices. Appearance - Straw yellow in color, cloudy, with huge foamy white head that hangs on for quite a while. Flavor - Not as lemony as the smell would indicate. Light malt with coriander and orange. Palate - Light mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Overall - This is very drinkable and very refreshing. One of the better American made wit biers I’ve tried. Would be great after mowing the lawn on a hot summer’s day. Unfortunately, it’s November and snowing outside; however, it did brighten up my day for a few minutes.
