Pours a hazy golden yellow with white head. Yeasty, lemony aroma with some spices. Nothing too complex, but refreshing with good spices esp. coriander, light fruits, and yeast. Medium-bodied with a nice palate. Can’t complain about this one, especially in the summer. jgb9348 (2495), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 20, 2009 Hazy golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of lemon, wheat, yeast and strong coriander seed. Light-bodied; Nice mild wheat/yeast flavour with plenty of citrus and curacao. Aftertaste is very mellow-amazingly fresh. Overall, a good summer wheat - odd for me to say - especially from Mendocino, but its a good beer! Definitely one to try this summer! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 02-June-2005 at Jon(R888710)’s. Barrios (858), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Poured a hazy yellow/gold with a two finger white head. The aroma was heavy citrus, with notes of wheat present as well. The flavor was slightly funky/sour, with lemon and other citrus notes, with coriander spice notes as well. The mouthfeel was clean and refreshing. Rciesla (3608), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Aroma - Predominant natural lemon aroma with subtle spices.
Appearance - Straw yellow in color, cloudy, with huge foamy white head that hangs on for quite a while.
Flavor - Not as lemony as the smell would indicate. Light malt with coriander and orange.
Palate - Light mouthfeel. Good carbonation.
Overall - This is very drinkable and very refreshing. One of the better American made wit biers I’ve tried. Would be great after mowing the lawn on a hot summer’s day. Unfortunately, it’s November and snowing outside; however, it did brighten up my day for a few minutes.
