The aroma is somewhat fecal...bad pedio infection on this one...with light citrus and abundant marshmallow malts. The palate is spritzy with lots of coriander spiciness atop fluffy marshmallow. Fecal presence remains, albeit more subdued. argo0 (6891), Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2005 (12oz bottle) Cloudy lemon yellow body topped by medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, coriander, lemon, light orange. Taste is medium sweet, wheat, orange, some coriander, lemon -- very flavorful without becoming over the top. Light body with some zest, some dryness in the finish. Very nice summer brew -- this would make a solid lawnmower beer. hopscotch (5474), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

The aroma is full of spices. I can’t identify them specifically, but they blend together well. Throw in the orange peel, unmalted grain and light citrus notes and you have created an aroma of cardboard and black gun powder. In other words... fireworks. Happy Fourth of July, U.S.A.! Oddly enough, the smell is not at all offensive to me as it brings back memories of Summers gone by. Moderately sweet flavor with lots of spice. Light-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes dry. Not really my thing, but many might consider this an ideal lawnmower beer. jcwattsrugger (5255), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Soapy, severely floral nose full of lavendar, sharp lemons, sharp wheat and lemongrass. Mildly tart, somewhat weird in flavor, with a dry, mildly bitter sticky palate. Refeshing. The aroma is sweet lemons with a touch of orange. It’s soft and lightly creamy with a mild wheat flavor blended pleasantly with lemon and cloves. Decent enough.
