COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An aggressive and old-school American Double IPA here, and a well named one, as this beer rips out your palate and the flies off to regurgitate it into the mouths of its frenzied young. Its combo of five malts and six hops creates a unique experience too. Anyone who touts themselves as a true hophead should seek out this beer now. Malts: Specialty 2 Row, Wheat, Munich, Vienna, CaraMunich 40. Hops: Warrior, Cascade, Amarillo, Summit, Pilgrim, Centennial. Dry Hop: Amarillo, Summit, Simcoe.

double deuce - pours pale to medium amber with orange-ish head and decent lacing. Nose is farty; wait, that is me. OK, here goes... still stinky, geez! Nose is earthy, grapefruit, pineapple and caramel. Flavor adds booze and a complex hoppiness. Wife loves it: the beer, not the fart, dummy. Big body. quite bitter, but balanced enough. Reminded as to why I love this brewery. Keep ’em coming! If only this could be blended with the Black Eye Ale to give it that yummy maltiness.

decaturstevo (4087) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Deep orange/gold pour with watery white head and lace. Aroma of resiny hops, toast, and sweet malt. Flavor is licorish, alcohol, caramel malt, a touch of cherry, and a hard citrus bitter. Medium body and a tad foamy. A beer that needs adjusting to but it can be done. It mellows some as you truck through it.

Suttree (4454) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 29, 2013
Hazy orange copper, nice white head. Smell pretty much like a typical DIPA. Sweet & hoppy. Lots of caramel and pine. Flavor is pretty much what the aroma would indicate. Lots of sweet caramel and a piney, sticky finish. Not bad.

Brain_Parasite (39) - California, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Pours amber with a hoppy, citrus aroma. Good hoppy flavor with citrus and interesting sweet berry flavors. Alcohol is not well hidden though and it outshines the other flavors a bit. Overall, a good D.I.P.A with a high alcohol kick.
