COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An aggressive and old-school American Double IPA here, and a well named one, as this beer rips out your palate and the flies off to regurgitate it into the mouths of its frenzied young. Its combo of five malts and six hops creates a unique experience too. Anyone who touts themselves as a true hophead should seek out this beer now. Malts: Specialty 2 Row, Wheat, Munich, Vienna, CaraMunich 40. Hops: Warrior, Cascade, Amarillo, Summit, Pilgrim, Centennial. Dry Hop: Amarillo, Summit, Simcoe.

Bomber from Hy-Vee. The bottles are gushers as if infected, but then doesn’t seem so and isn’t overcarbonated. It’s a very malt heavy beer--a little on the syrupy side, but generally a very good, semi-sweet beer with a lot of hop flavor at the end. Not quite bitter enough, but tasty.

Bomber. Cloudy brown-ish orange, foamy off-white head settles and lasts. Strong malt/PNW hop aroma and taste, spicy, herbal, citrus, pine, caramel and toffee, medium roast. Average carbonation, medium-full bodied, more aggressively hopped. Has an ABV bite, resinous, floral, some grapefruit. Definitely a bigger beer, and: DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)

Sampled in a bottle. A mild ipa with a large hop palate. A light clear white head. Good hop blend.

Not a terribly spicy IPA, but a solid beer. Love how it sits in the mouth, nice and comfy, like a baby boy on his pa

No aroma. Taste is lackluster, there might be more flavors but I can't find them. I feel like if the alcohol content was lower I would be able to taste more. Eh.

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine (North Hills), Raleigh, NC. Murky dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit rind, tangerine, and pine. Awesome, super hoppy and malty flavor of grapefruit, brown sugar, pineapple, caramel, and wet grass. While plenty hoppy, this beer offers a considerable amount of malt and is nearly reminiscent of a barleywine. Exceptional.

Bottle pours hazy copper. Nose syrupy malt, toffee, dank hop. Taste strong bitter up front, followed by alcohol. Heat and slight medicinal. Minimal balancing sweetness. Bitter finish. Actually drain poured this one.

Taster at Whole Lotta Brews Going On at Whole Foods in Folsom. Aroma and flavor is mostly grassy and piney hops that hold up after 10 beers at a brewfest. Good palate. Just not my bag, not exciting. Good beer though.
