COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
White Hawk is a traditional IPA .The IPA recipe is based on the original 1880 brew that was sent to India for the British troops. The advent of India Pale Ale was born of a need to supply beer in the 1800’s to British troops in India. This hearty, heavily hopped ale was brewed to endure the rigors of the long voyage from Great Britain.

White Hawk Original IPA was launched in California in early 2002 to meet the demand for a unique India Pale Ale. Consumer response for White Hawk IPA exceeded expectations and it is fast gaining a loyal following both in 6 pack and on draft.

[US West Coast Trip 2013] aroman är inte "vacker" för att vara en IPA. Mer som man blandat en IPA och en lager. Smaken är lite bättre men får nog tyvärr säga under medel där också.

Nah, not any good. Far behind some proper West Coast IPAs. This is very one-dimensional, just bitter, nothing else to balance. Where’s the floralness or the fruitiness? Nowhere to find it. I find it less of any copy, but more of an APA. And the figure on the label is Gyr Falcon, not a White Hawk.

Yah, back to that whole copying the old English style of anything...classic, but just not packing the flavor as much as it could...

Average IPA. Nothing really to say here. Brown, white head, hoppy, bitter, medium body. Not bad. Not spectacular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Clear amber with a nice white head. Aroma is mix of hops and malts. Flavor very consistent with aroma balanced with some caramel. Overall an easy to drink well balanced beer, great to have in the fridge but nothing spectacular.
