COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
White Hawk is a traditional IPA .The IPA recipe is based on the original 1880 brew that was sent to India for the British troops. The advent of India Pale Ale was born of a need to supply beer in the 1800ís to British troops in India. This hearty, heavily hopped ale was brewed to endure the rigors of the long voyage from Great Britain.

White Hawk Original IPA was launched in California in early 2002 to meet the demand for a unique India Pale Ale. Consumer response for White Hawk IPA exceeded expectations and it is fast gaining a loyal following both in 6 pack and on draft.

Lightly hazed light orange body with medium creamy beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, light citric, . Taste is more pronounced citric (gfruit), medium sweet, but also some biscuit. Finish is floral/grapefruit, mildly bitter. Medium body. Pleasant IPA -- not a hop monster, sort of a cross between an American and English IPA.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA Beershop, Kolding. Pours clear orange with a large, lovely, creamy white head. Aroma has peach, grapefruit, light pine. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has quite crisp malts and good bitterness. The hop flavours are a tad subdued, but itís a fine drink nonetheless.

Aroma of floral hop, and arguably pale malt. Hazy golden amber color with a white head that stayed for awhile. Laces a bit as time passes. Medium bodied, with muted carbonation. Starts with very decent hop level, I think its floral and grapefruit. The malt is there, but the hop seems dominant. Definitely grapefruit as time goes on. The finish is dry, and nicely bitter.

The white hawk was on my wish list, so thank you Tom/After4ever for this one. Itís warm-golden with a huge, white and creamy head. The aroma is nicely hopped with notes of grass, resin and fruit. The flavour is slightly sweet and has a nice caramel foundation, notes of fruit, a lot of citrus, a bit of resin, a nice bitterness and itís nicely balanced. Itís a tasty brew, that needs "the little extra" to become more than just that. 2022
