The taste is pretty much right in line with all the other IPA’s of the world, with more hops than the average beer. If you are rating this beer against all other IPA’s it would be right in the middle of the pack. Not great, not aweful, just decent.

Bottle @ Torben Mathews Tasting. Pours clear amber with fizzy white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, chocolate, light hoppy and light floral with notes of grapefruit, brown sugar, butterscotch, nutmeg and sugar candy. Taste is initial sweet, then light acidic and heavy bitter. Body is watery to oily with lively carbonation.

Pours a orangish, copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is of pine and citrus. Nice IPA taste with a lightly bitter (certainly not overwhelming) finish.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Clear amber with a nice white head. Aroma is mix of hops and malts. Flavor very consistent with aroma balanced with some caramel. Overall an easy to drink well balanced beer, great to have in the fridge but nothing spectacular.

holy tastey medoccino knows whats up with beers open to a sweet fresh citris smell with plenty of carb, it is evenly balanced with maybe grass or floral notes not to hoppy and not hoppy enough a good standard issue ipa

Taste is malty, bready, moderate hop bitter...
Earthy, Pine sap.

Brewed in Saratoga Springs, NY. Resinous hop aroma with a surprisingly profound caramel background. Bitter fruity flavor, grapefruit I guess, malt fades compared to the scent. Foggy orange color. Crisp body, goes down easy for a relatively high strength to body-weight. Nice label design.

Very malty. Okay maybe this was what an IPA was at one time... that was then... this is now. Just skip it. Not an IPA, unless you want to pretend... may be the right thing for those not ready to step up to the big plate.
