Pours golden-orange, moderate head with lots of lacing. Aroma is not all that strong, piney hops. Taste is mostly piney hops, some cittrus. Bitter finish. Nothing exception, but it’s a pretty decent IPA. One for mid-afternoon. Readily available.

Jul 20, 2008 Pours copper with small white head. Aroma of piney hops. Flavor is some piney hops with a little bit of citrus present. Actually seemed to be balanced very well to me. I did enjoy this one alot.

Jul 19, 2008 Bottle. Light copper pour with a big white head. Aroma is mild and all hops. Has an initial sweet taste that is quickly swept away by a dominant floral bitterness. Flavor is pretty good, id have to attribute the lower style score to a thin body, but this would make a great session beer.

Jul 18, 2008 I won’t be reaching for this one again anytime soon. Dry and bitter times two. Beautiful marketing, the label. Aromas of wood and some taste of citus. But way to traditional for me to enjoy.

Jul 18, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Charlottesville. Golden pour with a medium fizzy head. Citrus hop aroma. Taste is an up front hop bite with a nice malt background. Full bodied.

Cloudy unfiltered light orange with a watery off white head. Smell is doughy with a touch of orange in there. Flavor isn’t awful - just grainy and rind-like and not really very memorable or special. Medium carbonation. Finish is a touch medicinal and gritty. Very little hops shine through - moreso it is a touch of fruit and rind and that is it.
