4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured with an immense, sticky, white head of particular note. Lite cloudy orange-yellow. Blasting hop-floral nose. Spicy hopped flavors with nice orange-like tartness. Excellent!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hops abound in this IPA from the aroma, to the taste to the finish. The beer poured with a nice head and left good lacing. I would try this again...it is very drinkable! It would make a good session beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Finally a halfway decent beer from Mendocino! This one poured a medium orange to light amber hue with a super thick foamy white head. The aroma is almost all citrusy hops and more hops on top of that. The flavor is a walloping attack of crystal malts and a dry hopped citrusy hops. Definitely a tart dry aftertaste..citrusy and definitely dry hopped stuff here. Me likey...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale golden pour, large white head, mostly diminishing to leave goad lacing. Aroma is floral, pine, citrus - pretty much all hops. Flavor has mild malts to start, then big hops take over in the middle to the end. Body is medium. Pretty much a run of the mill IPA, nothing spectacular about it.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale golden colour. Small sticky white head. Metallic bitter nose. Well, this would be a great English IPA, but its just too metallic/skunk/bitter tasting. Its definately drinkable, but I dont wanna. Haha. Biscuits, cookies, metal, very spicey. Once again, there is a terrible off taste to this. Im not impressed at all.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 30, 2003 Had this at the Bon Vivant Beer Lovers Club on 4-25-03. Better than I expected. Pleasant hop aroma and character. Not overwhelming. Somewhat full bodied and almost "chewy". Finishes well without a lot of harshness. Worth trying.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
This was a very, very weak interpretation on the IPA. Tasted more like a plain lager with a little hop extract added. Nothing special here.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2007 Hazy amber color with a humongous rocky head. Nose is sweet with a floral hint. Barleywine like sweet start followed by a sharp hop bite. Light lemom/citrus aftertaste. Not quite so bitter if very cold.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
I didn't care much for the one. Pretty light in color. Not much malt in the flavor not much "pine" not much "citrus". I am going to guess that it is more of an English style IPA, but even at that its not too good. Bitterness without much flavor.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very yeasty, dry aroma, but no hops. The flavor really doesn't match or even compliment the aroma. I'm getting very strong hops bitterness and a burnt dry taste. This is just one of those beers which, while not a badly crafted beer, just doesn't come together...needs more work.
