COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
White Hawk is a traditional IPA .The IPA recipe is based on the original 1880 brew that was sent to India for the British troops. The advent of India Pale Ale was born of a need to supply beer in the 1800ís to British troops in India. This hearty, heavily hopped ale was brewed to endure the rigors of the long voyage from Great Britain.

White Hawk Original IPA was launched in California in early 2002 to meet the demand for a unique India Pale Ale. Consumer response for White Hawk IPA exceeded expectations and it is fast gaining a loyal following both in 6 pack and on draft.

EXCELLENT BEER. NICE MUSTY ALE NOSE TO IT AND A GORGEOUS TAN BOUQUET MAKES THIS A RATHER ATTRACTIVE BEER TO STARE AT. FLAVOR IS THE REAL PRIZE. WHITE HAWK IS PROBABLY (AND I HAVENíT CHECKED MY RATING LIST YET BUT) THE BEST IPA IíVE TASTED THUS FAR. REALLY NICE AND HOPPY, BITTER IF YOU WILL. A PERFECT SUMMER BEER AND DEFINITLY WORTH THE PRICE. OVERALL YOU CANíT LOSE IF YOUíRE A HOPHEAD.

Very good IPA, supremely balanced. Very nicely bitter, but with a great malty core that shines through. A very well-crafted ale from people who obviously care about their beer

Poured with an immense, sticky, white head of particular note. Lite cloudy orange-yellow. Blasting hop-floral nose. Spicy hopped flavors with nice orange-like tartness. Excellent!

Moderately strong aroma of pineapple, cashew, and caramel. Hazy amber color, no head, with steady streams of carbonation. Excellent mouthfeel, smoky initial taste. Tangy orange and orange peel at midpalate gradually gives way to a tasteful lemon grass. Wonderful transitions and very easy to enjoy.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2012 Pours copper with good head & lacing. Nose of pine and citrus. Taste is hop forward with a very nice bitter mouth. Gets more pronounced as it warms. Very good. From tap at Olde Saratoga brewing.

Yum! Didnít think I would think this one was all that great, but the liquor store guy talked me into it. After the first drink I thought "oh that is good" This beer reminds me of drinking with Tori Olson. :) Super hoppy

Nice tasty IPA. Aromas of tomato, cherry, tropical fruit. Taste ends with long subtle bitterness.

Probably my favorite brew from Mendocino. Pours nice with a frothy head and golden hue. Drinks very smooth with an excellent flavor that lingers nicely. An excellent beer.
