2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
02.17.06 6 12oz bottles. Darker amber color with sturdy beige head that laces in sticky sheets. Aroma is mostly dirty t-shirt, hints of pine, and some caramel far in the background. Overall, the aroma is lackluster, not at all enticing, at times repulsive, and generally one a dimensional mess of stinky hops. Itís a dimension that Iím not loving at all. Cascades take a more prominent role in the flavor (thank god) and thereís a decidedly citrus note on top of crackery malts and some cigarette ash. Very little backbone to support the muddled hops and massive alcohol, which is not too present except for a retronasal burn and slight peppery finish. Thin bodied, even for a regular IPA...canít say Iím too excited about this stuff. At least it was cheap. I was surprised I found it so unlikable, so I didnít even rate it until Iíd had six of them.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle courtesy of kkipple. Thanks!
Pours clearish amber with a lasting whitish head. Smell is overly sweet and faded hops. Not particularly appealing or impressive. Taste is dull hops, stale malt, and light bitterness. Kind of lightly sweet and cheap tasting. Too light on the carbonation as well.
Not very good or enjoyable at all.
