Apr 28, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully diminished white head. Pinewood hops aroma. Flavour is sweet and slight spiced malty. Goes into a nice smooth hops oily finish. Stays rather dry hoppy with a subdued flavour of caramel malt.

Taste is medium sweet, sharp grapefruit/pine that is quite bitter, a breach of the promise of balance suggested by the aroma and description. Medium body, some chewiness, acidity.

Clear amber color, small off-white head, lace. Piney, fruity aroma (passion fruit). Very fruity IPA, lots of juicy - aromatic hoppy flavors. Passion fruit and resin are dominants. Long, but average bitterish aftertaste. Easy to drink, balanced IIPA.
