“Jet black in color and full·bodied with a rich, creamy, long-lasting head. Robust, with luscious chocolate and coffee flavors, it is balanced with just the right amount of UK Golding hops. Brewed with massive quantities of oats, our Oatmeal Stout is smooth in the extreme. It pairs well with a wide range of hearty, full-flavored foods and delicious desserts. Our Oatmeal Stout is 6.0% alcohol by volume and 100% marvelous!”

this is a quite a unique beer, the smokiness is quite mellow but does offer a bit of character. not too rich in the malt aspect but falls short in the hop. the oatmeal taste is quite thorough. good beer.

The aroma is toasted with a slight smokiness and some chocolate and coffee. The appearance is dark brown with a tan head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall an average stout.

Bottle thanks to my brother. Perfectly black body. Sweet cereal grain with black tea and caramel. There is also some light milk chocolate. The taste has some milk chcocolate and a little bit of black tea in the finish. There is also some roasted peanut. Decent.

A good sweet stout. Very nice nose of dark chocolate + roasted notes. Creamy at times, gritty at times, oily, very nice mouthfeel. A bit of coffee in the palate, but mostly dark chocolate syrup and grain. Not too complex but darn good. Appearance is typical, very dark, reddish highlights, thick dark head that dissipates quickly.

Bottle from bhensonb. Pours black with a modest tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a nice coffee and chocolate flavor with a smooth slighlty bitter finish.

bottle. black with small tan head. robust sugary coffee nose with caramel and nuts. flavor is the same. palate is a bit thin and sharp on carbonation, but the flavor makes up for it. a full flavors and moderately sweet stout.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Color was pitch black. Surprising a small amount of head, maybe ˝ inches. Light lacing that dissipated very quickly. Light film on sides. Smelled of dark coffee and dark chocolate malts. This was the best part of the beer. Tasted of dark and smoky malts. Also some dark chocolate flavor in there as well. Tasted pretty fake to me. Full body. Average carbonation. Smooth feel. It was just a bit too fake for me, but I’ll take the smoothness.
