COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“Jet black in color and full·bodied with a rich, creamy, long-lasting head. Robust, with luscious chocolate and coffee flavors, it is balanced with just the right amount of UK Golding hops. Brewed with massive quantities of oats, our Oatmeal Stout is smooth in the extreme. It pairs well with a wide range of hearty, full-flavored foods and delicious desserts. Our Oatmeal Stout is 6.0% alcohol by volume and 100% marvelous!”

12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with an inch and a half tan head after a strong pour. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, oats, coffee, and chocolate. I think the taste is just like the aroma, except that that there’s a bit of dark fruitiness noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s creamy and has a good amount of carbonation. I think it’s a good Oatmeal Stout, definitely worth trying.

12oz bottle pours almost black with large fluffy coffee colored head. The aroma is full of coffee and chocolate. The taste is a smooth blend of coffee, chocolate and oats. There Is a mild bitterness on the back end but very mild. Overall a really good oatmeal stout.

Bottle. Pours oily black with khaki head. Aroma of molasses, chocolate. Rich mouthfeel, with a slightly bitter finish. Overall, more sweet than bitter. Good, not overly complex, but very drinkable.

A black body supports a fairly resilient medium khaki head of creamy to frothy texture creating dense lace with dimension off the glass

Welcoming, smooth, rich oatmeal greets the senses with a solid balancing layer of robust dark coffee and chocolate on a somewhat surprisingly full medium-heavy body with solid carbonation, very satisfying for a session

Great beer. One of my favorite oatmeal stouts. Dark black color, full bodied. Hints of chocolate and coffee. Great beer for coffee lovers.

This is a very nice beer. It is very smooth but full-bodied at the same time. It went really well with our burgers. Nice hearty coffee flavors that went down a little too easy. I will definitely purchase this beer again. I look forward to drinking it again.

Bottle poured a super dark brown color with a one finger frothy brown head that melted back to a solid ring. Aroma has coffee, dark chocolate, and a bit of dusty oats. Mouth feel is medium light and the carbonation average. Flavor is a bit thin for me overall but all the flavors are there. Mild roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee bitterness, and again light oats. Very much session strength.

Bottle @ some house as part of pre-gaming festivities (yes, I’m this much of a loser). Dark brown pour with a khaki head. The nose isn’t so bad. Roast, cocoa, and some coffee. Light buttered graham cracker sweetness. Flavor is a bit sweeter than expected. Graham cracker and a bit of butterscotch. Roasted malt, cocoa, and coffee. Certainly could do worse.
