dhurtubise (569), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Feb 6, 2003 What a terrific bitter. Extremely fresh, this was a very hoppy beer by ontario standards. Copper - gold colour with a thin white head. Very fruity and hoppy in the nose and flavour. EKG hops in the nose, not sure of the rest but this was truly a fantastic beer. The freshness and the hop balance tipping the scale to the hoppy end really got me going. joey_capps (1464), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Nov 30, 2002 Rich copper w/ orange hue. Whispy head & good lacing. Fresh, slightly fruity, light malt aroma. Medium body. Fresh, firm malty flavour, again slightly fruity w/ a nice assertive hop finish.
tupalev (2296), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 5, 2005 On a non-descript tap at a certain Spring Festival in the Hammer. I had this before back in my Brock University days, but was just getting in to beer then and don’t remember much at all. Anyway, this had an odd, musty aroma. Golden brown pour, small white head. Lovely British ESB taste, well balanced, and just a great session ale. Well done guys, this was worth revisiting! daboskabouter (1468), Fergus, Ontario, Canada Feb 25, 2003 Bright golden color with a little head. Fresh hops and a raw maltiness in the nose that reminded me of being on a brewery tour. A smooth large bitterness in the body is complimented by a grassy, fresh maltiness. One of the better brews from this brewery, tasted very fresh and balanced. DougShoemaker (2560), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 8, 2005 A nice hop/malt aroma, hazygolden brown, slim head. flavour is dusty malt, toasty, some soft hops in the after taste. Medium bodied, nicely balanced. Very good session beer.
