A remarkably good cider considering it is mass produced, and inexpensive. It delivers everything you’d expect of a pleasant cider, but not much more. Definitely worth a drink.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mkel07 (2340) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 28, 2010
375ml bottle. Pale and light looking , the colour of champagne. Sweet crisp apple aroma with a nice sweet apple flavour that cleanses the palate.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ComradeK (732) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2010
375ml bottle. Pours a very light straw gold, with, as expected, no head. The aroma mingles some savoury, nutty notes with ripe, sweet apple. It starts quite sweet, with a bitingly tart fruit hit coming in soon after. There is a full-bodied medium-sweet fruit finish. For a macro cider, this is very good. Thoroughly enjoyable, and a good refreshing drink.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Jade (380) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 12, 2010
Clear golden colour with moderate to high carbonation. Light apple aroma (lighter then most ciders). Very sweet to the taste. This is quite pleasant, particularly considering it is a mass produced cider.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Muggus69 (885) - Newcastle, NSW, AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2008
Review from old notes...
Served chilled in pilsener glass. Nothing outstanding on the nose; bit of apple, slight yeasty/maltiness to it. Pours a typical looking clean gold-with-a-green-tinge apple juice colour with a good dose of bubbles in there. Carbonation is not too lively on the tongue. Flavour has a bit of caramelised Granny Smith to it, not too sweet. Nice but not outstanding.
