COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Original.

Hermod (3083) - Vantaa, FINLAND - FEB 10, 2011
33cl bottle from Stockmann, Vantaa. Poured dark brown color with an almost brown head, nice lasting lacing. Aroma is roasted malt with quite strong rye notes also. Highly carbonated. Flavor is roasted and caramel malt with some chocolate also. Finish is quite dry. Decent, but there was some odd notes in the aroma I didn´t like.

Can from Systembolaget. Dark malty smell, bread and some chocolate. Similar taste, sweet with a metallic note to it. Roasted finish. Would have been allot better without the metal, no I’m not drinking from the can.

armando629 (2405) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 22, 2011
0,33 l, bought at Pivo Söröző, Budapest.
Black body with a medium froathu beige head that diminishes quickly to a small lacing one. Dark chocolate, roasted-earthy grains in the aroma with caramel and yeast, minimal hop. Lively carbonation, medium dense body, earthy and roasted grains, dark chocolate and espresso in the flavor. Roasted grainy aftertaste with some fruity sweetness.

AshtonMcCobb (2386) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 5, 2012
33cl bottle. Pours opaque black with a generous head - looks like a stout in fact. Nose of toffee and a hint of cream. The taste has loads of toffee, perhaps rolling into praline or Crunchie Bar. The palate is medium to rich in taste and texture with a long but elegant tangy finish. Overall, good beer, not what i expected in terms of style.
