COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Original. Merlin je výjimečný ležák, který lze pro jeho velmi tmavou barvu označit za opravdu černé pivo. Nᚠsládek jej vaří podle speciální receptury a při jeho výrobě používá vedle tří druhů sladu, křišťálově čisté vody z hlubinného jezera a kvalitního chmele rovněž pražený ječmen. Výsledkem je magická kombinace chutí s výraznou hořkostí připomínající stout, kterou ocení každý opravdový znalec.

On tap @ Prague Beer Museum. Pours black as Coke with a big creamy tanned head. Aroma of dark malts, light roasted coffee. Taste of light burnt malts, dark caramel. Dry mouthfeel. Lingering light bitter chocolate aftertaste.

Pours a pitch black colour with a beautiful brown head. Aroma of roasted malts and milk chocolate. Flavour of roasted malts, milk chocolate, mild coffee and sweet fruits. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation and a dry roasty finish. Low ABV and loads of flavour.

Pivo söröző, Budapest Köszönet Gerard Duchemin! Éjfekete színe van, szinte teljesen átláthatatlan. Habja olyan, mint egy forró, habos kakaónak, világosbarna, krémes, párnaszerű és nem tart ki túl sokáig. Illata fekete csokoládés, pörkölt malátás, kissé gyógynövényes és élesztős. Ízében is ott a fekete csoki, pörkölt babkávé, sötét gyümölcsök, kis fanyar élesztő, pirított magvak és maláta, megfejelve egy adag finoman kesernyés komlóval. Közepesen testes, kissé vizes és finoman szénsavas. Utóíze kissé fanyar és keserédes, kiszárítja a szánkat és sokáig érezni is ezt. Kissé a stoutokhoz lehetne hasonlítani, de nem annyira testes és kissé fanyarabb, de kellemes kis délutáni söröcske.

Draught @ Danske Bank Friday Bar. Deep dark brown coloured. Dense light brown head. ARoma of sweetness, light roast, some sweetness, and some spice. Has a sligt buttery note. Flavour of roast, light coffee, sweetness and herbs. Medium bodied. Ends on a roasted and ligth coffeeish note. Vaguely bitter.

On tap at Pivo Sörvendéglő, Budapest. Clear, reddish dark-brown color with medium, creamy, light-brown head. Roasted malty, coffee aroma with some smoky flavour. Delicious, malty beer, the hops only play a support role. Dry, light bitter taste. Creamy, light bodied, light carbonated. Smoky, coffee finish. It’s like a light stout. But it also has the typical Czeck flavours too.
