On tap at St. Augustine's. Clear straw yellow with a tint of gold. Aroma of spoiled apple, soap, and alcohol. Taste is slight tartness and even less sweetness. So thin and brutally pasty.

Oak, oak and more oak. The oak is very over powering and while the cider has an ok golden colour any underlying flavours and palate characteristics are overpower by the oak. Not very enjoyable, it was much better during the tasting at Merridale. I’m now wondering just how bad the rest of the cider were during the tasting because this was the pick of the bunch.

A small sample from a 1L bottle, pours a murky golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of dry apples, pears and some paint thinner. Flavour is very dry, with nothing but the apples and pears showing themselves. Very simple and a bit boring.
