Pours a cloudy dark amber with a thin head. Carbonation is lacking. Malty fruity aroma. Flavours of honey/caramel moving to weak coffee with a mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to moderate. Overall an okay beer but a long way from good.

Bottle. Clear amber with a coat of off-white head. Aroma of boiled sweets, pears, light spices. Rather lifeless. Bittersweet with toffee, some vague fruit, a touch of blood. Dully bitter and a little spicy at the end. Just about OK.

Pours a dark copper color with a small head that dades to bits of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and grain. Taste of roasted malt,and some grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body. smooth with a light creamy texture. Not a bad beer, just nothing to get excited about.
