Can Dark copper colour with medium white head.Aroma of hops and malt,nice flavor of tosted caramel medium body with good hoppy finish overall a o.k beer.

10/12 As Merry Christmas beer, from local Tommy store. Directly from a 0.5 l can. Honey malt and somewhat grainy aroma. Flavor was sweet, also both grainy and malty in honey way, fruity and even touched with caramel note. Medium to fuller in body with long, sweet finish. Interesting winter beer with some pleasant sweeter qualities appropriate for this time of year, although could be stronger.

Canned 500ml. -as Merry Christmas Beer. Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks!). Surprisingly nice dark golden/amber coloured, small off-white head, light butterscotch in the nose. Sweetish malty, light caramel and discreet hoppy with quite empty finish.

0.5l can from a Tommy store in Split, called Merry Christmas Beer. Poured a dark brownish amber body with a tiny white head. Creamy grainy nose, not bad. Bitterish, slightly crude (read crappy) hop and some light maltiness in the teaste, some apples, more malt driven than I made it seem here I guess. Ok in fact. Caramel notes. Better than expected by a large margin!

Canned.
Clear amber colour, big fluffy off-white head.
Smell of dough and toffee.
Sinple, malty aroma ruled by caramel escorted by dough and mild hops.
Citric, sweetbitter finish with herbs and hints of alcohol.
Pleasant.

Nice, rich flavor on this seasonal beer. Pours a deep copper color with sticky foam. Aroma of burnt toast and caramel. Taste of toffee. Too bad winter is only 1/4 of the year...

Dark red brown in color. Taste of a malty oktoberfest style marzen but stronger in alcohol flavor. Seems to be an attempt and making a strong winter doppelbock but still a marzen. Tasty but I don’t think it is a good representation of either style.

Die Schaumkrone dieses Winterbieres von Eichbaum hält mittelmäßig-gut, es riecht süß-malzig etwas fruchtig, bisher nicht schlecht. Geschmacklich ist es malzig, leicht herb, müffig-herb. Es ist zwar trinkbar aber wirklich überzeugen tut es mich nicht!

Brown color. Caramelly aroma with some banana notes. Sweet, sugary flavor with caramel. Grainy, almost medium bodied. Mediocre brew.

Auchan, 0,5 dobozos.
Egészen sötét, vörösessárga színe van, szinte már borostyánnak látszik. Habja hófehér, közepes nagyságú, elég tömör és kitartó. Illata igen malátás, édeskés, csipetnyit komlós és fémes. Malátás kezd az íz is, amihez társul egy adag karamella, méz, aztán jön egy adag zöld növényes komló és egy kis élesztős fanyarság. Közepesen testes és igen szénsavas. Utóíze keserédes és enyhén fanyar, kissé zöldes és száraz. Könnyen iható, egyenruhás fesztivál sör, nem okozott különösebb élményt.
