Thanks to kevnic2008 for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts malty-spicy, not too strong. More and more wheaty-grasy. Finish milder than exspected. Quite drinkable. Nice!

500ml can (as "Merry Christmas"). Clear golden color. Medium size, white head, stays. Sour and malty aroma. Sour, malts, rice? and alcohol in taste. Watery texture. Typical low quality macrolager.

Super bland aroma. Super bland taste. Pale. Soft palate, a bit gutless. Cleanish - certainly uncontaminated by beer.

--> herb-muffiges Winterbier. Nichts für mich!

0.5L can. Good strong hop aroma, but metal can smell complain it. Sour, chemical, grassy, strong grain flavors. Almost enjoyable bitter, but something disturbing, maybe metal flavor.

Can as "Merry Christmas Beer". Redirecting here where some users describe Winterbier to be "red" or even "brown". Is it really the same? This one has a golden body with a minimal head. Grainy lagery aroma with hints of pizza. Light grainy and caramelly lager taste with nothing distinctive. Märzen my ass - this is a totally sterile and generic malt-driven pale lager with zero character.

10/12 As Merry Christmas beer, from local Tommy store. Directly from a 0.5 l can. Honey malt and somewhat grainy aroma. Flavor was sweet, also both grainy and malty in honey way, fruity and even touched with caramel note. Medium to fuller in body with long, sweet finish. Interesting winter beer with some pleasant sweeter qualities appropriate for this time of year, although could be stronger.
