Clear weak yellowish greenish colour. Sweet apple aroma with some vinegar Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is dry, bit sweet with apple juice, a little vinegar, a mild bitterness and a little bit of vinegar. Dry apple finish. maeib (3949), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jan 7, 2008 Canned. A light lime coloured cider. The aroma is very sweet with an apple brandy character. Very artificial nose which carries forward into the taste, although undeniably there is a ton of apple flavour. Brown sugar also. Far too sweet and this is the medium version!! RichardGretton (2624), Leicestershire, England Dec 11, 2006 Bottle. Pale cider with a very sweet apple aroma and a very sweet apple flavour. Overall quite a sickly drink. ALLOVATE (1108), Perth, Australia Aug 3, 2006 This was about the twentieth cider I tried whilst in th U.K and the first that I’ve struggled to even remember the labelling on the bottle let alone tasting it. Quick scan of their website and its all coming back. Poured a clear, yellow gold with very sparce carbonation. Prominent fresh squeezed lemon nose that was a touch tart and ever so strange. Tart, sweet apples and notes of under-ripe peaches in the mouth. Alcohol shows and it’s quite eye-tinglingly astringent on the swallow. Good length of fruit in the swallow with a little residual apple sweetness and soft notes of cheese in the mouth. Very light bodied and softly carbonated, it went down with considerable ease even as it warmed. Not exactly meaty and unique but a fair cider none-the-less. (1.0L, green bottle, coded but not dated, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk)
