15/04 A 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks! It poured pale yellow body with almost no head. Sweet "refreshing" apple aroma. Slightly sweet flavor at first, turns into a bit dryer apple later on, especially towards the finish. Medium bodied with pleasant, long dry finish. Very decent cider for some cheap random macro. English macro cider brewers should learn from this!

Bottle from the Marburg LIDL. Hmmm.... despite looking ok enough and everything, I was expecting something bad. And this actually surprised, pleasantly.... Anyway, pale golden body, bubbly... so yeah, spritzig. Actually smells fresh, light vinuous appley nose, slightly sweetish. Taste... hmmm... some carbonation bite but generally gluey apple, balancing sweet and sourish quite well, maybe actually leaning on the sweet bit -> really welcome among the sour bombs that are the crappy German Apfelweine. Not too exciting, but no real flaws... actually... well done Mertes, well done Lidl, for that price definitely good!

Bottle shared with McTapps. Aroma of golden delicious apple. Taste the same. Refreshing and easy to drink but very sweet in the end.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear light golden in colour with low head. Taste of ripe and fresh apples with some crisp finish. Quite sweet overall.

Aroma is a bit weird and stale with apples, flour and a metal-like element. Flavour has apples, some apple wine notes and hints of metal. I was expecting worse.

Almost clear golden colour with no head.
Apple wine in quite vinous aroma. Apple, apple seeds and some spices in quite sweet flavour. Very soft carbonation. It’s like mixture of apple juice and apple wine or somewhere between. Thinnish and sweet.

Bottle 0,33l. 3,5% ABV Lidl, Berlin. Pour golden clear with weak white head. Aroma apples, apple wine. Palate is thin watery, with crispy soft carbonation and mouth feel. Taste is tart apples, acidic with medium dry flavor and good amount of sweetness. Finish is crispy and refreshing and papery flavors. Quite refreshing, although not exactly a traditional cider.
