2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Lidl. To be honest, I probably would not notice on my own, that it is almost half-on-half diluted with water. It comes across as quite average industrial cider, definitely not too bad. Sweet and refreshing.

0,33 L bottle from Lidl. Light yellow colour, good fresh and dry taste, but so sweet, because added sugar :/ I also tried blueberry version, but its little worse with artifical aroma. Nice design of logo. Its just 60% of cider mixed with must. Not worst but isnt real cider.

Small can from Lidl. It’s a very sweet cider. Quite perfumey. Sweet apple taste. Not much to it.

Can courtesy of Deanso. Poured a crystal clear light straw colour with no head at all. The aroma is sweet zesty leading to a medium sweet acidic flavour with lots of acidic apple. Very drinkable and refreshing but might become a little sickly if drunk in volume.

Can, many thanks to Countbeer. Light golden color wit small white head. Aroma of sour apples, vinous notes. Taste is almost the same. surprisingly refreshing, drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can: Served in a flute:
Sparkling and lively smaller to medium sized ashy off white head, disappears within secods and leaves a headless lively clear vanilla light yellow colored cider in my flute.
Aroma is not that typical, it’s dusty and yeasty, bit champagne like. Also some diaper aroma, urine, nuts, peanuts, a very light soft buttery but not buttery touch and overall a strong champagne like aroma.
Flavours of yeast, dust, balanced sweet/sour, cabbage, hint of marzepin, hint of apples, some other sweet fruits and some yeasty/dusty sweet wood.
Aftertaste is dusty with some apples, champagne, sweets, yeast...
Medium to little higher carbo, sparkling mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture.
A different approach towards a cider which I like for a bit, on the other hand, it’s a bit unbalanced... Not bad.

Stimmiger süß saurer Antrunk, in dem nach kurzer Zeit die Süße die Oberhand gewinnt. Hell, süß, frischer Apfel. Trockener werdend, gleichzeitig bleibt die süße Apfelnote vorhanden. Nett. 11/11/7/10/8/10

15/04 A 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks! It poured pale yellow body with almost no head. Sweet "refreshing" apple aroma. Slightly sweet flavor at first, turns into a bit dryer apple later on, especially towards the finish. Medium bodied with pleasant, long dry finish. Very decent cider for some cheap random macro. English macro cider brewers should learn from this!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the Marburg LIDL. Hmmm.... despite looking ok enough and everything, I was expecting something bad. And this actually surprised, pleasantly.... Anyway, pale golden body, bubbly... so yeah, spritzig. Actually smells fresh, light vinuous appley nose, slightly sweetish. Taste... hmmm... some carbonation bite but generally gluey apple, balancing sweet and sourish quite well, maybe actually leaning on the sweet bit -> really welcome among the sour bombs that are the crappy German Apfelweine. Not too exciting, but no real flaws... actually... well done Mertes, well done Lidl, for that price definitely good!
