3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Foxbush (763) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 10, 2012
This brewpub was recommended by the people at Porterhouse, It is a brewpub off O’connell Street near the Liffy. The first beer tasted was the seasonal APA. Nice ale that poured a clear light amber or tea like. The ale had a small white head with citrus aroma. The medium body ale had a lively carbonation. The ale had a smooth finish and a dry hop bitter aftertaste.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ACD (94) - Dublin, IRELAND - FEB 24, 2012
On tap at Messrs. Deep copper orange colour, not much head at all. Aroma heavy on the pine, slight passionfruit and caramel malt notes coming through too. Taste was fairly impressive with pine & tropical hop flavours on show, decently balanced with the caramel malt. Bit of a rough mouthfeel. Not much of a lingering bitterness unfortunately, could do with a higher ABV (think it only came in at 4.5%). A decent hoppy session ale, pretty impressed but plenty of room for improvement if they’re going to tweak their recipe.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mikeschuld (45) - Bozeman, Montana, USA - OCT 10, 2011
Nice clarity but too little head. Good light roast and caramel aromas that continue in the flavor. Nice medoum body but the hops overpower the mouthfeel. Doesn’t end bitter however.

Enjoyed at the brewpub whilst chatting with the brewer. Forgot to ask the ABV but will email. Appearance: Golden Orange, small but snow white head. Aroma: floral hops, vanilla, malt, caramel. Flavour: Nicely hopped, slight pine, yeast, malt with some fruitiness and a medium bitter finish. Nice indeed.
