nimbleprop (540), Washington, Washington DC, USA Jun 17, 2008 On tap at Messrs Maguire in Dublin. Pours a slightly hazy amber, orange with a slim, lacing white head. Aroma is a little funky, grain and noble hops. Flavor is a little better, malty and sweet with no hint of the funk in the nose. Solid finish, easy to drink. KM (137), Tromsø, Norway May 28, 2008 Tap. Small white head, pale brown body. Hoppy aroma. Dry and bitter, but lots of fruits too. A spesial sweetness. Pleasant fruity and bitter flavour. The bitterness is well balanced, not too much. Tiny hints of coffee? A pleasant bitter, a bit unlike other bitters. (Messrs. Maguire Pub, Dublin, 05.05.08) KnutAlbert (2122), Oslo, Norway Apr 18, 2008 Firm nitro head over a fairly dull beer. Pale lager-lookalike.
Like one of the nitro canned beers from the big UK brewers - Boddington, anyone?
A ghost of flowery hops, a hint of saccarine sweetness, too.
