Dickinsonbeer (2513), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jul 29, 2006 I kinda liked this pilsner. Very clean dna refreshing on a hot spring day in Dublin (I know that doesnt sound right). Pours a very clear gold with nice carbonation and a fluffy lasting white head and great lace. Aroma is bready yeast, doughy fresh malts and a nice herbal fresh hop character. Hoppy and clean flavor with lots of malt backbone. Smooth and very drinkable. This is a damn good pils. cgarvieuk (2350), Edinburgh, Scotland Apr 8, 2007 Golden yellow in colour, citrusy slightly soapy nose, with a refereshing light hop fruit larsniclas (2795), Gothenburg, Sweden Jul 27, 2008 Draught at the brewpub.
Deep golden with abrief, white head.
Very light aroma from some citrus.
Bready, cereal maltiness in the flavour with some butterscotch.
Ok bitterness. JoeMcPhee (3692), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Oct 1, 2004 Pale golden beer with a thin white head. Fairly sweet fruity aroma with grassy and flowery notes. Flavour of apple, citrus, hay, and flowers. Nice body and a fairly full finish. Very different from any other Pils interpretations that I’ve had, but very good. Nekronos (1893), Xalapa, Mexico Nov 23, 2005 Updated: Feb 12, 2006Good, a little booring after a while, but it smells a little like olives. Sweet sometimes as well. Earlier Rating: 2/12/2005 Total Score: 4 Well, by this point, I was a little dizzy, this pub’s home brewed beers are strong, but it was ok, even I wanted half pints but they were more expensive. This took my point of view of the previus beer (The Ale) to a higher point, and it was for free.
