tap at the brewpub - Pours golden and has a nice caramel malt aroma. The flavor is sweet and dominated by the caramel malt as well with minimal hops presence. Even the finish is malty. Bubbly and watery. Okay.

On tap at Messrs. Appearance: Golden amber with a small white head. Aroma: lots of caramel, toffee, a little grass but overwhelmed by the sweetness. Flavour: tangy lemon at first, quickly followed by a grassy caramel property with a lot of metallic twang to it. A good amount of lemon juice in the finish. Not bad.

On tap at messrs. Months since I drank it, it can’t really remember it at all. I remember that I enjoyed it. I will be back for a fuller review.

On tap at the brewpub. Very similar to the pils, right down to the unpleasant finish. Some more caramel malt thrown in, maybe a little fuller taste, too.

THis was a great representation of the munich helles style. Aroma of bready pils malt and just a hint of herbal noble hops. Flavor is full with more malt, lightly sweet, bready, and crisp with a great hop bitterness in the end. Very delicate, but so easy to consume quick after a long day of walking in the heat.
