3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Messrs Maguire, Dublin, on the Liffey. Pours a reddish-copper color with a small white head. Aroma is fruity hops with malt and slight rye as well. Taste is the same, with a crisp and satisfying mouthfeel. Definitely the best I had while I was there.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap. Nice creamy lasting head. Red brown body. Light and very fresh aroma. Canned pears and ice cream. Fruity and sweet flavour. Not bad, but maybe just a tad too sweet in the finish. (Messrs. Maguire Pub, Dublin, 05.05.08)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Messrs. Maguire was one of my favorite pubs in Dublin, an excellent place for long chats and a bit of grub. Among their line of sessionable brews, my preference went to the Rusty, a luscious and smooth Irish Red. Poured in a pint glass, the liquid itself is clear copper-colored, and aside from the unusual white nitro cream, rather tiresome to look at. On the nose, passion fruit, pineapple, apricot and acacia honey alloy to form a simple but enjoyable aroma. Fruits and honey reappear on the palate, echoed with an additional measure of caramel. The juice drinks like your favorite medicine, its velvety texture and sweet malty tones coating the mouth and throat. The nitro-carbonation greatly improves this beer, providing a buttery mouthfeel that still goes down easy after several pints. Rusty may not be the most complex of ales but it excels at its task: keeping you happy throughout the night.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Strong sweet caramel aroma. Perfectly clear with a nice amount of head. Good caramel flavors as well but the hop bitterness is little stronger than it should be for an Irish red covering any malt flavors at the end.

On tap-Messrs, A small enough but creamy head, aromatic, flowery almost sweet hop, pleasant roast flavour, caramel and vanilla, slightly copperish, lacking body, but enjoyable
