Cask Stillage at the Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt, Liverpool 18/02/2006 Fruity aroma. Dark coloured strong in alcohol with a very fruity bubble gum flavour. A hint of bitterness in a crisp lasting finish.

They had this classed as an imperial stout in Messrs. Pitch black, small frizzy head which lasted to the end. A sticky-smokey aroma with an equally smokey flavour, very enjoyable and incredibly unusual beer by Irish standards

Aroma is mainly roasted malts with a decent amount of smokeyness lying there. Taste is very smooth smokey malts giving you somethign to play with.

Very nice beer, the aroma and the flavour are great. It seems that I am being able to drink these beers again.
