Wow! First Bavarian style wheat beer I have enjoyed like this. Pours a nice straw gold with a fruity aroma and hints of caramel. Great body and mouthfeel.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2006 I could expect more from a home brewed Weiss Beer, but this was a little too soft, and the weath flavor was almost abscent from there.

Cask Handpump at the Memorial Hall, Northwich 22/09/2006 Strong fruit aroma. Golden coloured with a slightly hazy appearance and a wheat flavour. Some bitterness in a crisp and creamy finish.

Hazy gold with a thin white head. The aroma is crisp and wheaty with hints of lemon and yeast. The flavor is refreshing and very appropriate - wheaty, yeasty, fruity and lemony, with a dash of white pepper and allspice. The finish is crisp - a little dry, and a little tart. The mouthfeel is medium in body with a tingle on the tongue.

On tap at the brewpub. Appearance: cloudy orange with a proud white head. Aroma: decent lemon rind aroma at first, lots of yeast and mango. Flavour: mildly yeasty with a nice lemon rind bite, quite soft on the palate. Very refreshing. Great Hefe & a joy to drink in Dublin!

I think I liked the porterhouse weisse a bit better, but this was still pretty good. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast, light banana, light citrus and some clove. Wheat in the flavor, lightly sweet, some lomon citrus, and spice. Samooth mouthfeel. Nice.

Tap@MessrsMaguire. Banana and light hoppy aroma. Murky yellow, white head, good lace. Wheat, banana, yeasty, sweetish, light bitter. Soft mouth feel. Refreshing, balanced, surprisingly German.
