Panzerfaust (377), Santiago, Chile Nov 2, 2007 Sampled at Malloco’s Oktoberfest
Pours a pale yellow, slightly hazy color. Head is big white and frothy and stays for a while.
Aroma is malty/hoppy, traditional with typical lemony notes of yellow and green citrics, some grass and cerealy, vanilla and peachy hints.
Flavor is sweet-ish with an initial grassy touch that becomes much more fruity and malty. Flat, easy to drink but It shows nothing new in the ocean of emergent chilean microbrews, most of them leaning towards the sweeter side.
Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Refreshing. Sweet medium finish. Grainy aftertaste. Decent. Drinkable.
Lilith (241), Santiago, Chile Apr 7, 2008 Clear yellow color. Medium white head. Aroma is flowery, fruity with notes of bread. Flavor is hoppy, sweet, slightly of banana and gum. Sully (1363), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Apr 1, 2008 A relatively flat and muddy blonde, certainly not a role model for the style like Paris Hilton. Unlike this lady its tame and inoffensive. Decidedly underwhelming.
Ideal para el Verano!! almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile Dec 24, 2007 Has a golden pure color, is very frothy and with much gas. The aroma is good leavening and bread. In paladar is sweet, with a fine bitterness, very nice. A very good equation of Malt and hop. The finish, perhaps, is very bitter, but is pleasant. is smooth and with an average body. Very good beer. Congratulations.
