0.25 l on tap at In de Wildeman. Clear, very dark red with a thin, frothy, tan head. Sourish, fruity-malty aroma of vinegar, brown sugar, raisins, bitter almond and oak. Sweet-sourish taste of vinegar, brown sugar, raisins and almond, followed by a short, tart and oaky finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent and astringent mouthfeel, flat. Quite sweet with the acidity taking over in the finish. Very tasty but lacking a bit of balance. Curious about the unsweetened version.

Tap at Lekkernije, dring happen en stappen met een bier. 15cl glass.. Appearance: Dark ruby red beer, with a medium head. Aroma is sour, red fruit, Taste is red fruit, sour and sweet, some wood and a light liquourice hints. thin -medium body, soft carbonation. Not a beer for everyone, most people found it to sour. There is a lot of taste for 3.5% ABV and what there is is interresting, bt the taste is really not for the majority.

On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Dark brown beer cola colour lasting beige head. Sour aroma. Rather a lovely sour dark mild with dark cherry. Yes a little sweetness but I thought really interesting.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2015 Aroma of tart cherries, brown sugar, hint of vinegar, malt. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate sour. It’s a shame about the sugary sweetness.

Tap @ Posthoorn, Maastricht. Brown colour, white foam. Balsamic vinegar, berries, brown sugar. Nice taste but without sugar this would be very nice! Too sweet.
