Gravity cask at Porterhouse Cork. Pours a murky whitish yellow with a bubbly head. Reminiscent of dirty dish water. Amazingly, it literally smells like nothing. The flavour is a touch of grassy wheat sweetness and nothing else. Very light in body with no carbonation. No aftertaste, nothing. Seemingly, the cherry just negated the oranginess of the original Solstice leaving it very bland. Generally I’m a massive fan of Metalman and have loved nearly every beer they’ve made, but the Solstice beers just do not cut it, I’m afraid.
