COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A pale amber beer, hopped exclusively with lots of New Zealand varieties. An antipodean extravaganza, lightly carbonated with a soft bitterness from a combination of Southern Cross and Pacifica, leading into tropical fruit flavours of pineapple and mango, with the wonderful addition of grapes from Nelson Sauvin hops – a delightful spring beer! ABV : 4.8% Available in : Keg, cask

Cask at Franciscan Well Easter Festival. Pours a hazy amber with a pillowy white head. Fresh citrus, hops and salt on the nose. Medium sweetness, light bitterness with a medium sweet finish. Hints of caramel, berries and citrus. Smooth and slightly dry palate. Very nice from the cask.

A little gentler on the hops and fruitier than some if it’s new-generation Irish cousins, but it still packs a little kick. Caramel, soft fruit and spruce aroma. Fairly sweet flavour, more fruit, caramel and a restrained bitterness. Pretty tasty.

Keg pint at Farrington's, Dublin. Deep amber with thin bright white head, decent lacing. Fresh and juicy tropical notes in the aroma, mandarin oranges, slight pine resin. Juicy tropical fruits in the taste, bursting with passionfruit, mango, and grape juice, more of a bitter orange zesty note than in the aroma, touch of bitter grapefruit too - god bless those NZ hops. Good rich malt backbone. Bitter zesty hop finish, great refresher. A great Irish seasonal, hopefully will be making its way onto the permanent line-up soon.

Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Amber with white head. Fuller malt notes for this beer, but still carrying a good, healthy, hop wallop. Tropical fruits to the fore, a bit like a tropical fruit punch. Some sweetness, lasting on the palate. Pretty decent.
