Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear, thick golden. Sweet honey and spice in the nose. Rich body, sweet and sticky honey, very sugary indeed but also straight and pleasant. Quite some late heat. Nothing fancy, but very enjoyable. 140912

Yellow color, quite pale. Some aroma of honey, wine, wax, sugar, light alcohol, light flowers; vulgar. The body is not thick, but the flavor is very sweet, a bit flowery, with light honey, but mostly just sugary; although the acidity is on the low edge, it’s still a tad more than in the Fruchtig & Lieblich. Simple.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear golden - white head. Sweetnss, honey, bees honey, wooden notes, died fruits, figs, dark fruits, tartness, high sweetness.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, wood, honey wax, sweet floral. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, light tart honey. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120523]

clear yellow, small white head. boozy and flowery aroma. a little too boozy. flavor is honey, flowers. nice flavor.

Bottle, 11%. Honey and wax aroma. Clear golden colour. The flavour is sweet and sugary, good honey flavour and sweetness. Slightly spicy like a good mead should be.

75 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with no head. Aroma is pollen, floral and honey. Sweet, citric, honey and something else - honey wax like. Sweet and floral finish.

Bottled. A pale golden mead. The aroma has notes of honey and flowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, wax, and flowers, leading to a dry alcoholic finish where the flower note lingers for a long time. Thanks fiulijn for supplying this.
