Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is bready with some grassy/spicy aspects. Med body. Flavor is bready with some spicy/grassy aspects. It certainly has much more flavor than a standard pale lager. Finishes fairly dry and noticeably hoppy. Arguably a bit underrated.

Botled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Light brown head. Sweetness, fruits and light grape in the aroma. Flaovur is sweet and fruity. Has notes of soap. Alcohol notable. Thin bodied. Ends on a sweet and light spiced note. Hmmm.

Bottled, 250ml from Westholme Stores, Goring, Oxon. Brownish gold with white head. Sweet and malty beer, could have done with a show from the alcohol for a Christmas beer but there was a definite absence, toffee, caramel. No effort really.

Bov (9447) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 3, 2008
pours a clear amber colour under a firm pale beige head, nice lace, dusty nose with subtle notes of undefined spices and oranges, sweet and with a rather low carbonation, medium-bodied, some bitterness introduces a smooth and moderately dry spicy finish where more notes of oranges shows up - a surprisingly good beer from Meteor

Bouteille <Merci, Quack-Duck!> Deep golden to light amber coloured, rapidly collapsing off-white head. Lemons and cinnamon in the moderate sweetish-caramelly nose. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, a bit flat. Sweetish, Coca-Cola-like finish. No pleasure........

[25cl bottle, merci beaucoup Quack-Duck pour les petites Franaises] Clear, amber colour with a cream-coloured, mid-sized foamy head. Sweet and slightly sourish malty nose with a touch of toffee and flowery as well as spicy accents, also quite artificial. Light-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly fruity taste with spicy (pepper, cinnamon) notes. Quite dry and slightly bitter, spicy and shy hoppy finish with traces of alcohol that cannot be hidden. All in all not bad [20.XII.08].

Brown in colour and quite still. Aromas beer with a single malt whisky stirred in. Flavours are syrupy malts and that quite French whisky something or other. Medicinal, earthy flavours are also present. Odd, but merely OK.
