Received a four pack and tulip glass under my tree this year, picked up at the Christmas market in Metz. Deep copper hue, faint head. Spicy smell, with just the right amount of carbonation. A nice take on the Belgian style wih some added spiceness for Christmas. Different from the German Christmas beers I have been drinking...a nice change of pace.

Bottled 50cl. Decent deep golden beer with a beige, nicely remaining head. Agressive metallic waxy nose with a hint of fennel and lime. Some orange and lime in the taste which is metallic and waxy. Fennel again in the finish which is accompanied by onion.

65cl bottle at our holiday home in France. Clear amber / golden with a small white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite sweet with some herbal bitterness. Caramel, malts, fruits, sugar, herbs and spices. Reminds me of the Panaché-beer-lemonade they sell here in France, not too good.

Bonne petite surprise. Belle mousse blanche. Bon gout de caramel, un peu malté. Peu de carbonation et fin de bouche légère. Malgrés tout pas mal

650 ml bottle. Bright copper colour. Crystal clear. Tall coarse white head. Citrusy and sugary aroma. Rather artificial. Hints of fruity caramel. High carbonation level. Light bodied, with a light vienna malt flavour and a noticeable alcohol content as the malts are rather weak. Crisp upfront bitterness that is enhanced by the carbonation. Finish is thin and dominated by the dull hops.
