1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled as Meteor Bière d’Alsace, 4,6 % abv. Pours clear light golden, with a moderate frothy white head. Light hoppy aroma, tasting department seems on holiday in this beer, watery mouthfeel, no bitterness, only a strange artificial semi sweet taste. Not good.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Dark green 330m bottle, 4.6%, from Centra Colosseum, Oslo. Soapy, white head, some of it resting all the way over a clear golden body. Fragile lacings on the glass. Pale malty aroma with a note of acid lemon. Fruity taste with a light tart edge. Soft and dry in the mouth, but also a sweet metallic touch to it. Thin bodied and overall rather dull (at home in Tromsø, rating no.2101, 06.03.2009).

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
had it in a little wine shop in saas fee (valais, switzerland ) who sells good regional wines and plates of cheese and regional saucaces (for example the tipical regionalbeetroot-saucaces )
what a shame that they have almoust no beers,( how i remember the other is a heineken)
my bottle had 4.2 % abv not 4.5 like mentionned above
middle golden color
smells rather hoppy but has not much other smells, not really malty
tasts hoppy and a bit malty
i ask myself if in switzerland they have another contract brewer for bien vu than in france, because the shop owner sayd me it was brewed in switzerland but he didn’t know where and i found nothing in the net till yet

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle, 4.6% ABV. Unsurprisingly, it pours a quite pale golden body under a small off-white head. Weak aroma with some artificial lemon initially, followed by grains and some citrusy hops. It’s not bad, it just gives an artificial impression. Effervescent, medium body with citrus, pale malt and a hint of metal flavor. It finishes with artificial lemon and some maltyness. There’s also some bitterness, quite appropriate level for the style. Easy to drink, but it would probably be challenging to drink more than one bottle of it. It’s too artificial-lemony. (081019)

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330 ml bottle. Foamy white head. Shiny pale golden color. Cereal aroma with a whiff of dusty hops. Light sweet grain flavor. Dry, mineralic. A hint of bittering hops. Thin, quite crisp. Not offensive, and certainly not exciting.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured into a pilsener glass. Pale gold with a head that shoots to immense proportions, then shrinks back down to about 2 solid fingers. Leaves some excellent lacing, unheard of for a pale lager.
Aroma is corn sugar and grain with no hops.
Flavor is thin and metallic with a sweet cracker malt base and adjunct sweetness.
Paper thin and refreshing. Crisp and clean, but ultimately another boring pale lager.
