COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Malty and a bit sweet with some toffee and caramel. Light bready flavor as well, some nuts and an earthy quality.

Bottle. Clear orange with a white head that soon retreats to the rim. Aroma of sweet oranges, smoke, cardamon, white pepper. Very sweet - sugary - with oranges, banana cake, jubes and fortified white wine before a drying finish with some spice and woody notes. Some quite interesting things going on are just monstered by the sweetness and dull mouthfeel.

330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a 2 finger white head that retains decently and leaves some thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel malts with light fruits and mild hops. Taste is big malty sweetness with some light fruit and yeast with a mild hop presence. Medium body and adequate carbonation leaves a good feeling on the palate. A decent representation of the style and would taste even better if not so overly sweet.

330ml bottle. Dirty amber colour but clears to a nice orange colour with a slight white head. Aromas of lots of fruit, peach, nectarine, melon. Great flavour with a smooth mellow finish and mildon the palate.

Not a bad Biere de Garde. Aroma was nice. Sweet malt and grains are very big and full. Smells delicious. Pour was a nice clear light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was a little on the sweet side but was pretty good. Sweet, light and grainy with nothing much coming through other than sweet malt.Tastes like freshly drawn wort with carbonation. Decent beer

330. Pours a crystal clear medium gold with a scant wispy white head. Loose spotty lace. Big sugary nose, just overflowing with white sugar. Honey and aluminum there as well. Lot of aluminum. Watery light body with light carb. Aluminum and carbonic bite on the mid-palate, very like a glass of tonic water. CO2-ish finish. Unpleasant.
