3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not sure why this beer seems to be so unpopular with other reviewers. Pours a beautiful, incredibly clear orange color with a finger of foam that is retained for a while. Pleasant aroma of burnt sugar and honey. Doesn't taste as good a or looks or smells, but still good. A little syrupy, with caramel, spice and a hint of alcohol on the finish.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
250ml flaska från beställningssortimentet på systembolaget. Fäldigt fin gyllene färg, lite mörkare än vad jag trodde att den skulle vara. Trevlig smak med toner av aprikos, men det är nog inget som jag kommer beställa igen.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Spicy-sharp aroma. Starts strong-malty, some alcoholic notes, modest fruity like arpricot. Finish with some sourish and dry notes. Finish still intense malty and spicy. Still warming-alcoholic. Okay.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle from the off license on Westbourne Grove. I was quite excited to see some new beers in there, what an idiot! Quite a deep amber colour, lacking head. Malty, sweet, caramel, really lacking any hop at all to balance, neither bitterness nor flavour to be found. When would a beer like this ever be appropriate?

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2014 Bottle at The Rock Tapas Bar. Aroma is very sweet malt with brown sugar and vanilla notes. Slightly oxidized notes as well, and as it warms some dates and figs. Tastes very malty and sweet. No hop presence at all. Tastes like that Spanish drink Malta. Ready to age, but not sure if that would be a good thing. One is enough, thanks.
