(Draught) Sampler at the brewpub on June 4, 2010. Mahogany colour with some very active carbonation. Nose is awful – sour bandaid, iodine and vinegar. Some sweet cherry mid-palate gets buried by sourness. Not terribly hefe-like. Finished with a laundry detergent lingering. Very poor. 1/3/1/1/2

Growler fill from pub. Pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small slightly pink head. Not was I was expecting on the nose. Quite muted as far as Hef and Cherry aroma goes. Some tart lactic notes, bits of hay, some clove...but not much...more wheaty really. Cherry is in there, but more of a tart nature then fruity. On its own, it was okay but unremarkable. Did enjoy it more when I ended up blending it with the growler of Methow Valley cider we had.
