On tap at brewery: Too light -- flavor-wise and texture-wise. Easy to drink, however. Light and smooth roastiness and a mild bitterness. After a few sips, the sweetness became a bit much, with elements of sugary tar and toffee, which didn’t seem to fit.

(Draught) Sampler at the brewpub on June 4, 2010. Good coffee aroma. Strong cold ground coffee taste. Somewhat woody. Smooth, vanilla. Easily my favourite of the night. 8/4/8/4/16

Very dark brown colour. Chocolatey, oaty aroma with light coffee accents. Oaty, almost coconutty character is quite sweet. The body is really fatty. There is very little in the way of bitterness, either from the roast or the hop. So many just flabby, oatmealy and sugary sweet.
